Keynote Speaker: Jim Morgan

Many lean product developers first learned of Jim Morgan through his ground-breaking book, The Toyota Product Development System: Integrating People, Process And Technology, published in 2007. That book, based on Jim's doctoral dissertation for the University of Michigan, is still the best description of Toyota's product development processes, systems, and tools.

After Jim earned his Ph.D., he rolled up his sleeves to transform Ford Motor Company's product development processes. Along they way, Jim and his team benchmarked Mazda, to see how their methods could work inside the global development organization.
