An extremely important topic in today's fierce competitive environment, that takes amongst others focus on closing knowledge gaps, a great culture, visual management skills, lean project planning, knowledge management. On each of these topics, and more, speakers presented their views. As all LPPDE conferences, also in Jekyll Island a lot of space was made for "Exchange" - so that every single participant went home with an extended network of eager learners on the Lean PD path.

April 2017: LPPDE Europe 2017, Paris
The quest of our LPPDE Europe 2017 was about how should we adapt our product development processes and ways of workingto enable the development of such complex systems in which hardware, firmware and software components are combined. The good news is that lean for physical product development and lean for software development, such as lean startup or agile/scrum,originate from the same source: lean thinking. Lean product development arms developers with the behaviors and tools that enable themto conquer more complex developments in shorter time already.
